Music from f(x) cooed through earbuds into Eddie's mind as the skateboard thumped over concrete in the courtyard of the school he'd be back in classes at soon. Summer break was gloriously silent and he had the courtyard to himself, his hair slicked back into a tight ponytail and in his summer skating clothes - skinny tank and board shorts with his black and gold DCs. The song ended its smooth melody and switched over to one of Amber's solo singles, making Eddie pick up his speed as he kicked the pavement and coasted along the covered corridor at a higher speed The breeze felt good.
As Eddie rounded a corner of the courtyard and turned onto another long stretch, he began dancing on his board and took his headphones out of his phone to blast the music out loud. He coasted on his long board and took to walking it at a high speed. He felt a bit smug as he pulled some slow, but difficult, tricks and leaned low to splash in the water of one of the gazing pools in the corner of the courtyard as he passed before grinding on a low wall turning the next corner. He mimicked drums as he rounded the next corner.
Dipping in and out of the arches lining the courtyard, Eddie smiled devilishly to himself. He began miming playing a trumpet, alternating it with the drums and his boogeying on his board. He was having a real blast as he rounded another corner fast, narrowly missing clipping the corner columns. He laughed loudly to himself and wondered where his friend was suddenly wishing he and Seu could have some fun right now. Maybe he should go look for her later. But for now, he was busy with his crush Amber and some serious brass on his board.
