A seeming world of contrasts and duality inhabits the boutique on the edge of Mahgoohah Square. Makoto Iwata runs this large flower boutique and if the gorgeous and impeccable floral arragements don't have you coming back, Makoto's fun and sincere personality definitely will.

This haberdashery and robes shop is run by a father-son duo, Ravi and Sanjai Khan, respectively.

This is the two-story business and previously home of the locally infamous immigrant wix simply remembered as Nina. Nina was known to be eccentric, but most notably she was remembered for piercing intuition, androgynous dress, and penchant for lions. A portrait of an Asiatic lion, which is animated some say by her very spirit, hangs above the bar just inside the double doors.The bar has been run by her family and its descendants (current owner Caleb Hash included) for years, often taking in students for part-time jobs.
