Magic Styles

Soowees prides itself on being essentially the equivalent of a non-magic "liberal arts" school. As such, we encourage students to branch out into different studies and styles of magic that best suit them. They are broken down in a similar fashion to different nonmagic learning styles (audial, kinesthetic, visual, combination, etc). More popular styles include:

- Elemental Manipulation (control over the elements of nature)
- Verbal incantations (spoken magic)
- Inscriptive incantations (written magic)
- Gesturing (using movement and motion as a magical instrument)
- Augmented magic (using tools such as amulets and crystals)
- Medicinal magic (magic, tools, and rituals used for healing)

Our course load offers ways for students to utilize the most out of these differing magical styles and combine them as needed, as well. We encourage our students to experiment and find what style/s suit them and their needs.
